DJ Alexey Popov

A corporate event is when, after the official part, you need people not to reach for their coats but to stay at the bar and on the dance floor. And much depends on who is behind the mixing console: one will mix track after track and not notice the room, another reads people and leads the evening so that no one wants to leave.

DJ Alexey Popov has been in the profession since 2002. He works as a DJ, musician and MC: builds a program from club, deep, disco, electro, funky, minimal, progressive, soulful, tech, tribal and vocal house, electro progressive, minimal techno, speed garage and hip-hop. Behind him are clubs and restaurants in Moscow and the Moscow region: Gazgolder, Tochka, CRC Arbat, Revolution Club, Chapaev Club, Newton Bar, the Uryuk restaurant chain, Franklin Bar and other venues, as well as performances in Rostov region, at private and corporate events. He has shared the stage with Dj Magnet, Dj Jollier, Dj Max Newman, Dj Eva Flame and other DJs.

On the dance floor, it looks like this: he keeps the energy of the evening going, rather than just playing familiar tracks back-to-back. Between music blocks, he can take on the role of host — announce the manager's entrance, break the ice during a pause, and gather people to the dance floor. His style range is wide: from disco and funk for those who remember the 80s to techno and house for those who live for club music. That's why the set adapts to the audience and the occasion, not the other way around.
