NRJazz Jazz Band

После третьего тоста гости обычно начинают поглядывать на часы — а потом на сцену. And here it's important that the stage features not just musicians with sheet music, but a live quartet that knows how to hold the room without loud words or special effects.

NRJazz is vocalist Anastasia Rodnaya and three musicians, students of the Gnessin Moscow Academy. All participants are diploma holders and laureates of international competitions. The program includes jazz standards in their own arrangements and in traditional sound, original compositions, and jazz interpretations of popular music from past years.

The quartet doesn't try to outshout the banquet hall: it sounds tight and clean, the vocals come to the fore, and the arrangements are made so that familiar melodies are recognized from the first bars. This lineup has already performed at swing dance parties, jazz open-airs, clubs, and private events — meaning they know how to behave both on a large stage and in an intimate venue.
