Real Jam Jazz Band

When the evening is just beginning, guests are still taking their seats and conversations are held in hushed tones, you need a sound that fills the pause without overpowering it. It is from this very moment that a jazz big band takes charge of the event's atmosphere.

Real Jam Jazz Band is an ensemble with eleven years of experience working in Russia and abroad. On stage are three vocalists and seven instrumentalists: drums, double bass, guitar and banjo, saxophone, trombone, trumpet, piano. For smaller venues there is a reduced lineup. The repertoire is built on New Orleans and Chicago jazz, swing of the thirties, jazz standards of the forties and fifties — all in original arrangements with three-part vocals.

The band performed in the cultural program of the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi, played at the Christmas reception of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and at receptions of the Russian Embassy in Delhi and Mumbai. On the corporate stage it looks like this: a live lineup without backing tracks, recognizable tunes in unfamiliar arrangements, vocalists who shift the audience's attention from toasts to music, and pauses between numbers into which the official part can conveniently fit.
