Electric violinist Yanina Solnechnaya

Yanina Solnechnaya is a violinist of the Kremlin Symphony Orchestra, silver medalist of the Delphic Games. She plays the electric violin and a late 19th-century acoustic violin. Her repertoire includes Vivaldi's 'The Four Seasons', dance cover versions from Vivaldi to Sting, famous hits, and movie soundtracks.

On site it looks like this: the acoustic sets the tone during the ceremonial part, and the electric violin joins in when the banquet picks up pace. One instrument easily switches between classics and recognizable melodies, so the program doesn't fall apart into 'official' and 'dance' halves.
