Group "Saint Patrick's Brigade"

A corporate event where, after the official part, everyone sits in their own corners waiting for the moment they can quietly leave — a familiar picture. What usually saves the day is not a host with contests, but the moment when something genuinely alive happens on the stage.

"Saint Patrick's Brigade" is a Moscow band of five musicians: guitar, mandolin, accordion, bass and drums. They play Irish and Scottish music: popular Celtic songs, hits in the spirit of Dropkick Murphys, The Pogues, Flogging Molly and The Tossers, sea shanties and whaling songs, as well as jigs and reels. The band performs at festivals and large stages, and also works together with an Irish dance company — there is a joint number Boondock Set with Iridan Dance Team.

At an event it looks like this: the mandolin and accordion carry the melody, the drums and bass keep the rhythm, and the audience imperceptibly starts tapping their feet. Someone catches themselves humming along to an unfamiliar tune. The program is put together from proven material that holds the attention of both those who love folklore and those who recognize familiar punk riffs. You can invite the band separately, or take the format with dancers — then a second center of attention appears on the venue.
