Quartet “Chao, Bob!”

When everything is already set up at the venue, but guests are still finding their way around the hall with glasses in hand, it's important that the music doesn't compete with conversations or force people to shout. Quartet “Chao, Bob!” is a chamber cover quartet that plays exclusively live, without backing tracks or phonograms. Instead of a drum kit, there is a cajón, so the group can easily fit even in a small hall. Each song is arranged specifically for the quartet's lineup, not taken in a ready-made form.

The difference is that live sound here is not a loud attraction but careful work with space: the cajón keeps the rhythm, instruments and voices are distributed so that the audience hears both each other and the music. On site, it looks like a well-assembled ensemble without extra equipment and lengthy setup.
