Music project Clover Lounge Beats

Picture it: guests have gathered in the lobby before the conference begins, someone is still looking for their seat, someone is browsing the program. And at that very moment the space fills with a saxophone — softly, without pressure, over a light beat. Conversations don't stop, but they grow warmer, and the welcome zone stops being just a corridor.

Clover Lounge Beats is a trio. Vladimir Bugrov at the controls, Artyom Makhov on saxophone and Polina Kanina on soprano. Artyom's repertoire goes from blues and funk to electro-soul and deep house with a jazz bent. Polina sings original material and hits of Russian and world pop music. Together this gives a dense but unobtrusive sound that holds the atmosphere of the evening.

The format is flexible: from 10 minutes to two hours. The trio can be placed at the entrance to set the tone for the event, or in the hall — as a standalone block between parts of the program. Live saxophone and vocals over a DJ set sound voluminous on the site, but do not drown out guests' conversations and do not interfere with the host.
