Diana Sur

Jazz at a corporate event is often seen as background for conversations. While recorded music plays, guests reach for their glasses and lose the thread of the evening. Live vocals change the scene: people turn to the piano, put down their glasses and listen.

Diana Sur is a jazz singer, songwriter and composer, headliner of Russian and international jazz festivals. Her portfolio includes victories at the International Songwriting Competition (USA, 2023), Golden Time Talent (London, 2023), and the festivals Jazz Birds, Your Voice and Golden Voice of Russia (all 2021). She sings jazz at the intersection of R&B and the improvisational tradition.

The line-up of musicians is put together to suit the needs of the evening. A duo will fit intimately into a banquet for 30 people, while a quintet will handle a larger hall and deliver more sound and drive. Improvisation makes every performance unlike the previous one — the same compositions sound different each time.
