Saxophonist Irina Varlamova

At the very start of a corporate evening, everyone stands by the buffet and doesn't know where to put their hands. The first toasts have been made, the conversations are still sticky. And right at that moment a saxophone appears on the floor — and the space changes: someone smiles for the first time that evening, someone sings along, someone finally exhales. The artist's task at a corporate event is not just to play a set, but to relieve that tension and bring people together.

Irina Varlamova is a professional saxophonist and vocalist: she plays the tenor saxophone and sings at the same time. She graduated from the pop-jazz department of the State Academy of Culture and Arts, majoring in saxophone and vocals. She is the winner of the TOP-100 WOMAN award in the Best Saxophonist of the Volga Region category, author and organizer of the annual Jazz Voice festival, and participant of international festivals in Italy and China.

The repertoire includes more than 300 compositions: pop, pop music, jazz, rock and roll, rock, jazz rock. Irina can pick up any composition on request and play by ear in any key — this is noticeable on the stage when guests ask for something 'their own', and a minute later the saxophone is already leading a familiar melody, and the audience joins in.
