Tanslu Show Orchestra

A corporate event client usually fears one thing: that the musical part will become a pause during which guests bury themselves in their phones. Especially if the stage is already taken by an awards ceremony or a presentation, and there are twenty minutes left until the banquet.

Tanslu is a female show orchestra of five members, active since 2010. Their track record includes victories at international jazz festivals and solo concerts abroad: the opening of the Russian House in Rome in 2011, Russia Day at the Russian Embassy in Delhi in 2012, and a concert in support of the Sochi 2014 Olympics in Davos. Costumes are made from original designs, and radio microphones and radio equipment allow the members to move freely around the venue instead of standing tied to stands.

On stage, it looks like a live orchestra that behaves like an ensemble, not like backup dancers to a backing track: instruments, voices, movement around the hall, contact with guests. The five members hold attention both in a crowded hall and on a large venue where a chamber group usually gets lost.
