About the artist

When a backing track plays at a corporate event, guests quickly lose interest in the stage. A live instrument in the room works differently: people fall silent, turn around, take out their phones. In this sense, the violin is one of the few instruments that is equally appropriate at a gala dinner and at a conference opening.

Anton Sokolov is a violinist with an academic background. A graduate of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, he studied in the class of Professor Asya Kushner. He worked at the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre and the Svetlanov State Orchestra. Behind this biography lies daily work with orchestral repertoire, stage discipline and the ability to sustain sound in a large hall without loss.

At an event, Anton builds the program around the client's task: something calmer for a welcome cocktail, something with movement for the main part of the evening. With him, you don't have to guess how the artist will fit into the timing: he plays with any stage and any technical rider, and his level is audible from the first bars — without unnecessary explanations or promotional promises.
