Dance show “Bionika”

A corporate evening program often relies on a single segment with a host and music — and by the third hour the audience starts glancing at their watches. Organizers have to look for an act that will shift attention without words and make people put their phones away.

Dance show “Bionika” has been working since 2006 and combines choreography, original costumes and visual art on stage. Over this time, the project has gathered dozens of stage images and standalone numbers: each has its own style, music, movement and costume, and unusual images in original FEDYA&HAIK costumes occupy a special place in the program.

The difference of “Bionika” is that a number here is not just a dance to music. Costume and visuals work on par with choreography, so on stage the number reads as a short theatrical story: light, silhouettes, changing images. The audience doesn't need to know the context — what's happening is clear from the first seconds.
