Chaplin Theater-Cabaret

When a corporate script comes down to "host plus DJ," the audience starts getting bored after the second toast. You want something to happen between the director's congratulations and the final segment — something people will retell by the smoking area afterward.

Chaplin Theater-Cabaret assembles numbers in the traditions of Russian and European cabaret: live vocals, choreography, acrobatics, and the work of an MC. Feathers, sequins, designer costumes with rhinestones — all of this is on stage, not just in the description. The repertoire includes a ready-made dance&comedy show 'Smekhopunktura' lasting 90 minutes and the cabaret comedy 'A Million Bitcoins for My Beloved'.

The difference is in the genre assembly: a dance number here neighbors a musical and a humorous one, while the MC keeps the rhythm of the evening and links the blocks together. On stage, it looks like a change of genres without pauses: just now the audience was watching a vocal act, and a minute later they are laughing at a comic sketch. For the event, the theater also offers hosts from among its artists — Sergey Rost, Oleg Akulich, Karina Zvereva, Nikolay Georgiev, German Levi, Vladimir Vishnevsky.
