When the evening is already underway, but guests are still sitting in their seats glancing at their watches, the person who can turn the room around in a couple of bars saves the day. Not louder, not brighter — more precisely. What matters here is a musician who hears the mood of the room and knows how to shift it.

Ruslan Kvak is a professional musician, singer and pianist, a graduate of the Moscow State Institute of Culture with a degree in pop and jazz singing. He is a laureate of all-Russian and international competitions, holds a diploma from People's Artist of the USSR Evgeny Doga, and has taken part in the TV projects X-Factor and Nu-ka, vse vmeste!. His repertoire ranges from retro to jazz and salsa, and he sings in 17 languages.

At the piano, Ruslan doesn't just perform numbers from a list — he builds the evening from what is happening in the room: at times he moves into jazz improvisation, at others he switches to salsa, and at others he takes a long-familiar song and makes you hear familiar words in a new way. He holds the background when guests are chatting and the main moment when everyone is looking at the stage.
