Aerial acrobat Igor Verkhovykh

The banquet is in full swing: someone is finishing a toast, someone is looking for a waiter with something hot. And then the extra lights in the hall go down, the guests fall silent, and a minute later a dozen phones are already raised up — because the artist is rising right up to the ceiling.

Igor Verkhovykh works in the air — on aerial silks and straps. This is not a circus act behind the arena: he performs right next to the audience, building a cascade of drops and holds, and that makes it harder to watch than it seems. The format is tailored to the venue: in a restaurant or nightclub — a compact version on straps, in a hall with a high ceiling — the full program on aerial silks.

The main thing the client should know in advance is that the act requires a suspension point and height. Igor addresses these issues before signing the contract, so there will be no surprises on the day of the event. His background includes corporate events, clubs and restaurants, touring concerts and city celebrations, from a stage for Power Engineer's Day to New Year programs.
