DJ Vladimir Rozhkov

A corporate party rarely starts on the dance floor. First guests stand by the tables, then by the bar, and only by the third toast does someone cautiously step into the center of the room. The DJ's job at such an evening is not just to play tracks, but to bring the crowd together so that by the middle of the night no one is sitting on the sidelines.

Vladimir Rozhkov works in two roles at once: he plays a set and hosts it as an MC. He raps and talks to the audience between blocks, so the dance floor doesn't fall apart and the energy doesn't drop from track to track. Styles he works in: R'n'B, hip-hop, Russian and foreign pop dance, rock, house. He has played at events for Black Star and Malfa labels, and worked at parties for Gafur and Lyusya Chebotina.

On the floor it looks like a live dialogue with the audience: the selection depends on how the room responds to the previous track, not on a pre-recorded playlist. He raps himself — the audience gets not only music but also a performance that holds the attention of those far from club culture.
