1. Jetpack water stunts by Adidas

The American music and arts festival in Coachella Valley (USA) is considered one of the largest, most popular and highest-budget music festivals in the world. Adidas held its annual event called 'Adidas Sports Club' at this very festival. The club's idea is to combine sport and culture. Guests of the event visited unique basketball, tennis and football courts, enjoyed a hydromassage pool, watched synchronized acrobatics performances and jetpack water stunts. Also, everyone who wished took part in a mini-festival without cell phones and attended a musical lunch.

2. Desert music and cactus biorhythms

The American 'Ice Hotel' every year as part of the Coachella Arts Festival (USA) organizes cultural entertainment in the desert called Desert Gold ('Gold of the Desert').  This year at the event one could meditate with an instructor, attend live performances and a comedy evening. The main highlight was a series of musical compositions created by electronic impulses from cacti. Thanks to the use of a MIDI controller, listeners had a unique opportunity to track the subtle biorhythms of plants.

3. Knitted photo booth and perforated paper ceiling design 

Recently, the annual fundraising gala was held at the Brooklyn Museum. The event was dedicated to the Mexican artist Frida Kahlo and the museum's new exhibition 'Frida Kahlo: Appearances Can Be Deceiving'. The museum's Beaux-Arts Court was a cascade of colorful decorations in the 'papel picado' style (papel picado, translated from Spanish as 'perforated paper'). This decoration consists of paper-cut flags of various designs.

Also at the event, a colorful photo booth was presented, made entirely of knitted items by New York artist Olek. This event was attended by more than 1,200 guests and raised more than 1.9 million dollars for museum exhibitions and educational programs.

4. Hostesses on bicycles with trees made of glasses

The annual charity festival Pink Tie Party Festival was held in Washington. In the main hall there was a bar decorated with images of blooming cherry blossoms against a blue sky. Here guests were served sparkling wines and cherry brandy. The tables for the event's sponsors were decorated with cherry blossoms hanging from the ceiling. On the staircase at the main entrance, decorators placed an installation of a cascade of umbrellas in front of a painting of blooming sakura. The highlight of the event was hostesses in floral dresses and bright wreaths. The girls served guests drinks from glasses that hung on 'trees' attached to tricycles.

5. Money room 

An exhibition on financial themes opened in the Los Angeles Arts District. The exhibition was organized by a company that strives to promote the financial independence of women. Visitors visited a colorful infinity room decorated with money. Such an installation allowed one to see one's independent financial future.

6. Singing fountains show with pyrotechnics, a one-ton iron throne and a fire party

Ahead of the final season of 'Game of Thrones,' a unique water show with pyrotechnics, music and video projections was organized at the Bellagio fountains in Las Vegas. With the help of projections, a huge silhouette of a dragon was recreated, which 'set fire' to the water with pyrotechnics.

Also, to mark the release of new episodes, the legendary Iron Throne, 11 metres high and weighing 9,000 kilograms, was installed at Rockefeller Center. 

The premiere party took place at one of New York's most prestigious event venues — the Ziegfeld Ballroom. The event's red, dramatic design reflected the title of the final part of the series "Fire and Blood". The focus was on authentic decor: red candles in miniature deer antlers and artificial skulls.

7. Goat Yoga, Travelling Performers and an Industrial Welcome Wall with a Logo

Recently, one of the world's largest business events took place in Montreal, Canada – the C2 Montreal business conference. The main entrance to the hotel where the event was held was decorated with a massive welcome wall featuring the conference logo. It was decorated with various industrial elements and greenery.

Throughout the event, travelling acrobats dressed in 19th-century industrial outfits appeared from the ceiling. The thing is, the conference venue is located on the grounds of the former yards and shops of the Grand Trunk Railway of Canada, so the organisers paid tribute to history.

The highlight of the event was goat yoga. These are unique classes with animals led by professional instructors. Anyone who wanted could pet the goats and take a selfie.

8. Drone Show

The other day, the Big Data Expo 2019, an international exhibition of innovative solutions for managing large databases, opened in Guiyang, China. To mark the opening, the organisers put on an incredible show of glowing drones that, like hundreds of bright stars, light up the sky every evening.

526 sparkling unmanned aerial vehicles take off into the sky simultaneously and form beautiful three-dimensional images during a futuristic light show. The group of aircraft flies in various formations, such as a globe, a moving hand, a running man and a rotating cube.  At the same time, the drones' colour schemes are constantly changing and are controlled by a single computer.

A drone light show is a modern, technology-driven alternative to fireworks. Using drones is safer and more ethical. They won't cause a fire or wake children in neighbouring blocks.

9. Space-Themed Presentation of the New OMEGA Watches

To mark the 50th anniversary of the first human landing on the Moon, OMEGA released a new limited-edition Speedmaster watch in 6,969 pieces. The model, issued in memory of the Apollo 11 expedition, contains gold and has a number of unique features. The main one is an image of Buzz Aldrin stepping onto the lunar surface. The case back features an engraved footprint, and next to it are the historic words of Neil Armstrong.

To mark the release of these watches, a private space-themed party was organised. The organisers recreated a unique mission control centre on Earth with entertainers in astronaut costumes, and also built a huge replica of a rocket. The new watches were presented in a gilded installation in the shape of a satellite. The event was attended by those who had been on the Moon and those who had watched from Earth, including Buzz Aldrin, George Clooney and Charlie Duke.
