Domino Quartet

The opening of a corporate evening, when guests are still taking their seats at the tables and are hesitant to strike up conversation with unfamiliar colleagues, can easily turn into an awkward pause. Someone is scrolling through their phone, someone is waiting for the official part. It is precisely at such moments that it matters for something to appear on the site that will turn attention to the stage without loud announcements and pomp.

“Domino Quartet” is a quartet of professional musicians from Saint Petersburg who continue the traditions of live acoustic music of the 1930s–1950s. The lineup includes male vocals, accordion, double bass and guitar. The program features popular hits in French, Russian and Italian from the repertoire of past performers, as well as original compositions.

Their difference is that the sound remains live and warm even on a large venue: accordion and double bass create volume, guitar holds the rhythm, vocals lead the melody. Guests hear familiar intonations and start singing along without waiting to be asked. This is not background, but a full-fledged part of the evening.
