Jazz band BEswing

The client is putting together an event that needs to combine prestige and lightness: guests are still standing with their glasses, and the music already has to set the mood. Too quiet — the evening drags, too loud — no one can hear each other. That's where the right live band by the stage helps.

BEswing is electro swing: vintage jazz of the 1920s fused with electronic beats. The lineup adapts to the format, from 2 to 8 members: vocalist, flute, DJ, go-go dancers; in the jazz version, keys, double bass and drums are added. The repertoire includes jazz standards and world hits.

On site, it looks like a change of scenery within one evening: the vocalist sings, flute and double bass sound, then the DJ shifts everything into an electronic pulse, and the dancers engage the guests. The performance runs in two 40-minute sets — enough for the evening to get going and not lose pace.
