About the artist

Live guitar music at a corporate event is often intended as background, but the opposite happens: either the instrument drowns in conversations or overpowers them. It all comes down to who is on stage and how flexibly they can hold the room.

Anatoly Garkin is a professional guitarist, music director and composer of the Big Ethno Jazz Project orchestra. His arsenal includes jazz, ethnic, flamenco, Latin and rock, and he switches between them throughout the evening rather than delivering one memorized set. He has played in philharmonic halls with an organ behind him, at jazz concerts and in small venues — so he feels equally confident in academic acoustics and in a club format.

The lineup is tailored to the task. Anatoly performs solo when unobtrusive live sound is needed at a guest welcome or during dinner, plays in a duo or trio, and if necessary brings a modern orchestra with a brass section, double bass and percussion to the stage. The program is built for the event: the lineup, duration of sets and repertoire are discussed in advance, so the evening won't have to be adjusted to a ready-made template.

Anatoly works in Moscow and performs at corporate events, company anniversaries, presentations and New Year's parties. Leave your number — we'll check available dates and quote the fee.
