Guitar duo “Flamenco Duo”

A corporate event where, after the official part, guests don't know where to go — a familiar picture. Someone is scrolling their phone by the wall, someone is waiting for the second hall to open. Spanish guitar changes the mood of the room in a couple of minutes: people stop talking and turn toward the stage.

“Flamenco Duo” is a guitar duo from Saint Petersburg. The repertoire includes traditional flamenco puro, popular Spanish melodies, rumbas, Spanish songs and original compositions. Both members are laureates of the “Virtuosos of the Guitar” competition and the All-Russian Diego del Gastor Flamenco Guitar Competition, and have performed at the Flamencura and ¡Viva España! festivals.

Two guitars sound dense and hold attention without backing dancers or special effects — this is honest live music in which technique and character can be heard. If the format allows, the duo performs together with a flamenco dancer: then movement is added to the sound, and the number becomes a full-fledged stage episode. This format works well both as background during dinner and as a separate block in the evening's program.
