Illusionist Denis Chertovsky

Picture it: a banquet hall, guests have already relaxed, and then someone asks for a magic trick. The fuss begins — someone digs in their pocket for a coin, someone recalls a school trick with a handkerchief. And yet you could have simply invited the person for whom this is a profession.

Denis Chertovsky is an illusionist and mentalist with 25 years of performances behind him. He not only shows tricks but also teaches them: he trained Russian actors and founded a project for teaching magic tricks. He appeared in Irakli's music video for the song 'Online', graduated from the Ostankino Television School, participated in TV projects, and is involved in the promenade opera 'The Queen of Spades'. He is fluent in English — he works with foreign guests without an interpreter.

On stage, Denis holds the audience without loud effects or props the size of a car. Guests become participants: cards, coins, objects from their own pockets, predictions that come true at the table. He works up close, looks into their eyes, and that is why even skeptics in the third row stop checking their watches. English in his arsenal means that a foreign delegation also stays engaged in the action.
