Wheel of Cyr Show — Konstantin Sherstnev

Corporate events are often put together on the principle of "table, speech, fireworks" — and by the third toast the room is already glancing at their phones. To keep the evening's attention without an entertainer-host, you need an act that switches people from "meeting" mode into "eyes on the stage" mode.

Konstantin Sherstnev is a circus genre artist who performs on the Wheel of Cyr. He graduated from the M. N. Rumyantsev (Karandash) State College of Circus and Variety Arts in 2005. He is a Grand Prix and 'Golden Crown' winner of the Russian National Festival 'Princess of the Russian Circus' (Saratov, 2007), and a bronze medalist at the 3rd World Festival of Circus Art on Poklonnaya Hill. He is a laureate of the World Festival of Circus Directing in St. Petersburg (2010) with the act 'Shaman' on the Wheel of Cyr. He has toured with Cirque Dreams 'Pandemonia' in the USA, at the Friedrichstadtpalast in Berlin, at the Dinner show Palazzo in Amsterdam, and at Le Noir Show in China; he also took part in the ice show 'The Snow Queen' and in Moscow club productions.

The Cyrus Wheel is not a prop for backup dancers: the spinning hoop sets the tempo, while the artist inside holds balance and works with the body on the edge of controlled risk. The "Shaman" act is built as a stage story, not as a set of tricks — which is why it works both on a club stage and in a banquet hall where the focus needs to shift from conversations to the stage. What matters to the client is something else: precise dimensions for installation, a clear rider, and an artist who has performed in various formats — from ice shows to club stages.
