Sitarist Stepan Khristanov

When a corporate event brings together people from different departments, and after the official part everyone wants more than just background music — something that shifts attention and gives a pause — a live sitar works better than any DJ. The sound is unusual but not aggressive: it fills the space without interfering with conversations, and at the same time immediately sets a different mood for the evening.

Stepan Khristanov plays the sitar, combining Indian tradition, original music and improvisation — that's why each program sounds new. He performs solo or in a classic duo with tabla, combining sitar with other instruments. His portfolio includes the Lumiere Hall in Saint Petersburg and the Mirror Hall of Mosconcert.

A separate direction is music therapy: accompanying yoga classes and musical meditations. This can be appropriate both within a business program and as a calm format for team building. On site everything looks intimate and without unnecessary pomposity: the musician, the instrument, the sound.
