Host Evgeny Shamshin

Two weeks left until the corporate event, and the evening's script is still in someone else's hands, and no one understands who will lead the guests out of the awkward silence after the first toast. Sound familiar: there's a program, but pauses hang between the segments, and the evening rests on the enthusiasm of a couple of people from the department.

Evgeny Shamshin takes on this role. He hosts corporate events, parties, ceremonies, and city events, and also works at outdoor sports venues. He has acting and directing experience, and it shows: he doesn't just announce acts but maintains the desired mood of the room and improvises as the program goes on. A separate story of his is the SaniDay creative sled festival, where he is the ideologist: there you can see how he can bring very different people around an idea.

On site it looks like this: the host doesn't read from a piece of paper but picks up remarks from the room, turns them into a joke or a twist in the program. If something goes off plan — and at corporate events things go off plan regularly — he adjusts on the fly because he looks at the evening through the eyes of a director, not just a host.
