Vocalist Marat Karimov

The banquet is in full swing, waiters weave between the tables, some guests have already moved on to dessert, and now the host needs to win the room's attention back. A familiar picture: guests are relaxed, the hum of voices drowns out the music, and yet another track from the speakers no longer does the job.

Marat Karimov is a singer with a strong velvety timbre that can be heard even in a noisy room and through conversations at tables. Laureate of international competitions, including New Wave, Factor A, Music Carousel, and Constellation. He sings only live, without backing tracks.

The repertoire consists mainly of foreign hits — the ones the audience picks up from the first line — but Russian pop music is also present. He performs both as a solo artist on a large stage with light and screen, and in an intimate format at tables, when the singer comes out to the guests and sings a meter away from them; the second option often saves the day when the venue is small but a big effect is needed.
