Vocalist Yuri Fironov

A corporate event where after the official part no one knows what to do with themselves — familiar. People stand at the tables, the host tries to stir up the audience, and the music plays in the background. The musician's task at such an evening is to break this numbness from the first bars.

Yuri Fironov works exactly like this: Russian pop classics — Antonov, Obodzinsky, Magomayev, Leontiev, French romance from Joe Dassin to Serge Gainsbourg, modern hits and slow ballads. Behind him are concert halls and clubs of Petersburg, New Year venues on Palace Square and at the SKK, sharing the stage with Vasily Gerello and Mikhail Boyarsky, backing vocals for Marina Kapuro, and participation in a vocal quartet. In 2024 he became a laureate of the TransportFest competition. He sings live, plays guitar and piano, and his repertoire includes songs of his own composition.

On stage it looks simple: familiar melodies follow one after another, the audience picks up the familiar lines, some come out to dance, some stay at the table and sing along from there. Between numbers, Yuri keeps in touch with the audience instead of hiding behind the microphone stand.
