Vocal group "Jive"

Guests are already seated at their tables, some are scrolling through their phones, some are waiting for the hot course — and then four voices appear on the floor, and the conversation at the table somehow quiets down on its own. A familiar melody sounds different from the recording, and now someone is singing along, and someone is moving closer to the stage.

"Jive" is a Saint Petersburg vocal group that has been working since 2010. Four voices, pop-jazz ensemble numbers, polyphony and their own vocal arrangements. The group presents familiar domestic and foreign hits in modern arrangements, and each time they sound a little different. The group is a laureate of international vocal competitions and festivals.

The artists have performed extensively at corporate events and city venues, so they are equally confident holding the program with modest sound equipment and on a large stage. Their interaction with the audience is built into the numbers themselves, not tacked on the side: the hall gets engaged as the performance goes on, without coaxing or "let's give them a round of applause." There are three formats — a background set during the cocktail hour, a concert block on stage, and the dance part of the evening; they can be assembled to fit a specific scenario.
