Living Statue Workshop

Guests gather in the lobby, the program won't start for another twenty minutes, and everyone needs something to occupy themselves. Some are looking for acquaintances, some are studying the menu, some are standing by the wall with a glass. That's the moment when a bronze warrior appears at the entrance — and the conversation reshapes itself.

Living Statues Workshop is a team of professional actors who work in images: a bronze warrior, a white angel with wings, "silver" gangsters in hats, a golden adventurer in the style of old adventure films. Each character is the result of handcraft: makeup and costume are made for a specific image, so up close it remains whole and doesn't fall apart into details.

The main difference is that the statue doesn't stand still. Slow plasticity, precise gestures, reaction to a guest who has come too close and tries to understand whether there is a living person in front of them or not. The actor holds the image all evening, and that's why the welcome cocktail area stops being just a waiting place.
