Palace of Water Sports “Ruza”

The Ruza Water Sports Palace is a regional sports complex in Ruza, Moscow Region, about 100 km from the Moscow Ring Road. It hosts championships, concerts, and city celebrations, and the atmosphere is conducive to large-scale events: stands, a scoreboard, and modern equipment create the effect of a real arena.

For the sports festival, there is a universal hall 48×25 m with stands for 1,000 spectators, an information board, audio and video equipment, and four locker rooms with showers — suitable for mini-football, handball, basketball, and volleyball. A separate strong point is the demonstration pool 50×25 m with 10 lanes, diving towers and springboards, and stands for 2,500 seats, so the water relay will become a full-fledged part of the program. The complex also has a training pool 33.3×21 m, a children's pool, wrestling and rhythmic gymnastics halls 24×14 m, trampoline and gym halls, and a conference hall.

The venue is convenient for sports festivals, corporate tournaments, and sports celebrations: the halls can be easily transformed for different disciplines, and the stands can accommodate up to 1,000 spectators in the universal hall and up to 2,500 at water competitions. Accommodation is available in a mini-hotel 200 m from the complex or at a country base with chalet houses 9 km away.
