About the venue

The Start sports base is located in Shakhovskoy in the Moscow region, 150 km from Moscow, on Shamonin Street. It is a large sports complex of more than 10,000 m² that hosts up to 1,300 people a day: not ceremonial halls, but real sports infrastructure with stands, court markings and equipment.

The venues cover almost all game and water disciplines. A 48×24 m game hall with stands for 420 suits basketball, volleyball, mini-football, tennis and rhythmic gymnastics. There is a domed multipurpose hall with 10 m ceilings, a 25 m six-lane pool with 5, 3 and 1 m diving platforms and stands for 277, a second pool, and a 56×26 m ice arena with stands for 104. Outdoors: a 90×65 m football pitch with artificial turf and stands for 660 spectators, a basketball and volleyball court, and running tracks. Plus two choreography halls, a gym and a tennis center. Dining: a cafe.

For corporate events the base is convenient because everything is under one roof and close by: team games, swimming and hockey can easily be held on different grounds on the same day without moving between locations. It is a natural choice for sports days, sports team buildings and tournaments for large teams, as the capacity of the stands and halls allows up to 660 guests.
