Caricature artist Andrey Senin

Picture this: a banquet hall, the toasts have already been made, and guests are starting to get a little bored at their tables. Then an easel appears in the corner — and a line begins to form around it. People are waiting not for drinks, but for their own caricature.

Andrey Senin is an artist and sculptor; he graduated from the St. Petersburg State Academy of Art and Industry in 2016. He works in sculpture, graphics, and painting, and at events he draws caricatures, cartoons, and portraits — black-and-white and color, with or without a storyline.

On site it looks like a live workshop: the artist quickly captures the character and conveys it through line and color, and guests take away from the evening not a souvenir with a logo, but their own image. Some order a concise black-and-white caricature, others — a color one with a storyline, and both are created right before the eyes of the audience.
