About the artist

Picture it: the corporate event is in full swing, guests have already looked at the year's charts and raised their toasts, and then a chair appears in the center of the hall. An ordinary office chair that someone sets on one leg — and it stands. And then a person sits down on it. From that very moment the room stops chatting and pulls out their phones.

Alexey Shlega, the Balansio Show project, is a master of object balancing from Saint Petersburg. He arranges ordinary objects in unstable positions on a single point of support, and his signature act is holding a chair on one leg with a person sitting on it. He has appeared on the show "Amazing People" on the Russia-1 TV channel, reached the final of "I'm Almost Famous" on Channel One, won the "Amazing People" cup, and holds the status of Russian and world record holder.

On stage it looks calm and almost routine until you realize that the structure is held by a single point of contact. The act lasts from 10 to 45 minutes — it can fit into a short block between the awards ceremony and the banquet or be extended into a full set. Spectators come onto the stage and into the hall, take part in the interactive, and after the show take photos on the balanced chair.

St. Petersburg is the base, but Alexey travels to any city in Russia and abroad. Formats: corporate event, company anniversary, presentation, New Year's party. Leave your number — we'll check available dates and quote the fee.
