Show Ballet "Noir Show"

The same cast gets tiresome all evening. A good show ballet changes not only its costume but also its genre — and the audience reacts each time as if it were a new act.

"Noir Show" performs with a mixed cast; each act features from three to eight artists at once, including men. This allows for segments that female trios don't have: a masked gangster number, business suits with ties, Russian winter glamour, an oriental fan dance, and a New Year's program.

The shoot is studio-based — a red curtain and a black room — but the troupe performs just as confidently in the hall among the guests.
