Veronika Klapishevskaya hosts events in Chinese and Russian. She is studying in the 'Chinese Philology' program at the Faculty of Asian and African Studies of St. Petersburg State University, Chinese level — HSK 6. In April 2024, she became a prize-winner of the 23rd St. Petersburg qualifying round of the international student competition 'Chinese Bridge'. She has been working as a host since September 2024.

Her experience spans events where language matters: the Chinese food and culture festival "Nihao, Shifu!" at Sevkabel Port, a concert for the Chinese Spring Festival at the Mayakovsky Library with a live broadcast on the Kultura TV channel, the closing of the "St. Petersburg — China. Dialogue of Cultures" festival marking the 75th anniversary of the PRC and the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations, and the groundbreaking ceremony for the Huawei research center on the banks of the Neva. In 2026, she hosted the regional round of the "Chinese Bridge" competition at St. Petersburg State University and the all-Russian stage at the Hermitage Theatre, and on July 22 she hosted the Russian-Chinese event "The Great Tea Road: China (Hubei) — Russia" in Chinese for more than 100 guests — with the signing of agreements between companies and coverage by the Xinhua agency. In addition to hosting, she works as an interpreter: in June 2026 she stepped into the simultaneous interpreter's booth for the first time at the XII International Research Conference "Problems of Far Eastern Literatures".
