Host Stepan Butukhanov

The employees are rearranging their badges for the third time and still can't remember the names of their new colleagues — and the corporate event starts in half an hour, and the room finally needs to come alive. Here the host matters no less than the program and the venue.

Stepan Butukhanov works in Saint Petersburg, and in the catalog he is listed under 'Corporate event hosts'. His portfolio is entirely business-oriented: conferences and business sessions in meeting rooms, events with participant badges, the Stand Up League stage, and filming for 'Comedy Battle'.

This experience defines his manner: he knows how to work with an audience accustomed to schedules and terminology, keeps them engaged in the process, and maintains the pace between program blocks. Where light humor is needed, he relies on proven jokes and the live reaction of the audience, not on pre-written cue cards. On site, it looks calm and businesslike: no fuss, with respect for the time of speakers and guests.
