About the speaker

ESG should not remain a set of declarations in a report: without a connection to business strategy, corporate culture, and employee development, sustainable development loses its practical meaning. Yuri Blagov helps to unpack how responsible business conduct becomes part of management decisions.

Yuri Blagov is the Director of the Center for Corporate Social Responsibility at the Graduate School of Management, Saint Petersburg State University, Associate Professor of the Department of Strategic and International Management, and Candidate of Economic Sciences. He is one of the first researchers and educators in Russia in corporate social responsibility, and has completed programs at ESADE, Stanford Graduate School of Business, and Duke University.

The audience will explore ESG and sustainability as a strategy, responsible leadership, corporate volunteering, and employee competency development. Special attention can be given to corporate culture as the foundation of business sustainability and the values of sustainable development.

Yuri Blagov speaks in the format of a report or lecture, and also moderates business sessions. In 2025, he moderated the "Pro bono" session at the XIV Moscow International Forum "Corporate Volunteering: Business and Society".

The presentation is possible in Saint Petersburg, with travel to other cities and online — for a conference, forum, strategy session, corporate training, or off-site team event. Leave your number — we will check available dates, agree on the topic of the presentation, and quote the fee.
