Gorky Hall is located in the Grand Hotel Europe — a five-star hotel from 1875 on Nevsky Prospekt. It is one of St. Petersburg's landmarks: the Russian Museum, the Mikhailovsky Theatre, and the Grand Hall of the Philharmonia are nearby.

The hall accommodates a maximum of 38 people. Large windows fill it with natural light, while a mirror and decorative fireplace add homely elegance to the interior.
