About the venue

"The Roof" is the ballroom of the Grand Hotel Europe, the oldest luxury hotel in Russia. The hotel has been welcoming guests since 1875 and stands on the corner of Nevsky Prospekt and Mikhailovskaya Street, with windows overlooking the Square of Arts. The hall is crowned with a stained-glass ceiling, and the interior has preserved decorative elements from the 19th century.

The ballroom can accommodate up to 250 people, and the adjacent terrace up to 150. The terrace offers a panoramic view of the historic center and can be divided into several separate conference rooms. The hall can be arranged both in theater style for conferences and with round tables for a gala dinner.

"The Roof" is suitable for conferences, gala dinners, corporate parties, weddings, and cocktail receptions: brunches and large festive hotel receptions are regularly held here. The menu is prepared by the kitchen of the Grand Hotel Europe, the events department assists with flowers and equipment, and out-of-town guests can be accommodated in rooms of the same hotel. The Nevsky Prospekt and Gostiny Dvor metro stations are just a few minutes' walk away.
