About the venue

The Sosnovka Park sports center is in Sosnovka Park — a 15-minute walk from Ozerki or Udelnaya. The main attraction is a huge heated dome 13 meters high: life buzzes under it all year round, regardless of Petersburg weather.

Under the dome there are 2,250 sq m with two artificial-turf pitches measuring 40×20 and 36×18 meters. The pitches accommodate up to 500 people, and another 150 fans can sit in the stands. There is a conference hall for 30 people with a projector and sound, and in summer an open football pitch and a beach zone with a pool and a beach volleyball court open up. Food is organized in the grill zone by the open pitch, with catering and barbecue, and a banquet can be set up right on the pitch under the dome if you wish.

The venue is made for spartakiads and tournaments: the center handles turnkey organization, including referees for football, badminton and other disciplines. The height of the dome allows inflatable attractions, so sport, team games and an informal part are easy to combine here.
