About the venue

The Ballroom is the largest hall of the Hotel Astoria, a five-star Rocco Forte hotel in Art Nouveau style on Bolshaya Morskaya Street, directly opposite St. Isaac's Cathedral. High ceilings, crystal chandeliers and arched windows combine historic atmosphere with modern audio and video equipment.

The hall's area is 260 m². It accommodates up to 220 people theater-style, 150 classroom-style, up to 184 guests for a banquet, up to 200 for a cocktail reception, and 60 in a U-shape. In front of the hall is a spacious foyer with a separate street entrance. The Ballroom can be combined with the neighboring Winter Garden, and then a reception with the banquet foyer is designed for up to 450 guests.

The hall is suitable for conferences, forums, gala dinners, corporate events and weddings. The hotel's cuisine prepares coffee breaks, set-menu dinners and buffets, and the Astoria team manages the event from registration to banquet. Guests can be accommodated at the Astoria or the neighboring Angletter; it is about a ten-minute walk to Admiralteyskaya metro station.
