About the venue

"Lidval" is a transformable hall on the second floor of the Hotel Astoria, a five-star Rocco Forte hotel on St. Isaac's Square. It is named after architect Fyodor Lidval, who designed the Astoria building.

The hall's area is 111 m². Theater-style it accommodates up to 70 people, cabaret — 48, classroom — 40, at a common table and around the perimeter — up to 40, U-shape — 36. The hall is divided into two meeting rooms: "Lidval 1" at 58 m² and "Lidval 2" at 53 m², so the plenary part and group work can be held in one place. There is a built-in projector screen, wired and wireless internet.

The hall is suitable for conferences, meetings, trainings and presentations, as well as for a business lunch in banquet seating. The hotel's cuisine organizes coffee breaks, set-menu lunches and buffets. Participants can be accommodated at the Astoria or the neighboring Angleterre; it is about a ten-minute walk to Admiralteyskaya metro station.
