About the artist

When a delegation from China arrives at a corporate event and the board of directors expects simultaneous interpretation of the presentation, the evening stops being just an evening and becomes a test of accuracy. One slip in the numbers — and partners at the other end of the table ask again, and the meeting loses its pace.

Denis Paletsky works in Russian ↔ Chinese and English → Russian combinations. From 1997 to 2011, he served at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs: linguistic support for negotiations on the borders of Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan with China, SCO summits, meetings of the top leaders of Russia and China. Candidate member of the International Association of Conference Interpreters AIIC. He studied at Fudan University majoring in Chinese Language and Literature, taught at MGIMO, Shaanxi Normal University and Beijing Foreign Studies University.

The difference is that Denis has been managing public and private projects in industrial, investment, and financial cooperation for about twenty years — he keeps in mind not only the vocabulary but also the context of the deal. On site, it looks calm: the delegation speaks, the audience hears the interpretation without pause, and for a specific event he assembles a team of 2 to 20 interpreters if the audience needs more than one language pair.

He works between Beijing and Moscow, so he travels to corporate events, company anniversaries, presentations, and New Year's parties with Chinese guests in both cities. Leave your number — we'll check for an available date and quote the fee.
