Simultaneous interpreter Liang Letian

Liang Letian is a simultaneous interpreter of Chinese, bilingual: Russian and Chinese are native to him. In simultaneous interpreting since 2013: over 1300 hours of work in the simultaneous interpreting booth and more than 8000 hours of consecutive interpreting. Behind him — the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (2017–2019, 2022–2025), the Eastern Economic Forum (2015, 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023), Innoprom, the Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum and SCO events. At the XVI BRICS Summit in Kazan, he led the Chinese booth.

In addition to his practice, Liang Letian is a Candidate of Sociological Sciences and an expert of the international interpreting competition Cosines Pi. He teaches simultaneous interpreting at the School of Translation and Foreign Languages of St. Petersburg State University and translation at the Department of Foreign Languages of HSE University in St. Petersburg, and is the author of Russia's first simultaneous interpreting course in the Russian–Chinese pair.
