Simultaneous interpreter Anna Tsvilyova

The organizers are meeting with a Vietnamese delegation, and the program includes an hour for negotiations, a report with energy terminology, and a dinner where half the remarks are mixed in two languages. A familiar picture: without an interpreter in the booth, the conversation falls apart, and with an untested one, it falls apart even faster.

Anna Tsvilyova is a simultaneous interpreter of Vietnamese and English. She graduated from the Institute of Practical Oriental Studies as an expert in Vietnamese history with knowledge of Vietnamese and English, and from MGIMO under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia in the field of 'Economics with knowledge of foreign languages.' She lived in Vietnam for eight years — in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Vung Tau. She is proficient in the northern, central, and southern dialects of Vietnamese, provides simultaneous and consecutive interpretation in oil and gas, finance, medical, and IT topics, and works in the booth at conferences and online.

The difference is felt in the terminology. Anna interpreted the meeting between Vietnam's Minister of Industry and Trade and the EEC representative, the negotiations between Moscow City Duma deputies and the Hanoi People's Council delegation, the event of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology and Rosatom on quantum technologies, accompanied the delegation of Vietnam's Minister of Culture at the Days of Vietnamese Culture in Russia, and a children's delegation from Ho Chi Minh City at the International Children's Cultural Forum. She also teaches Vietnamese at the Dialectum Center of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation — meaning she knows how to explain complex things briefly and to the point.
