Simultaneous Interpreter Bulat Danilov

The speaker on stage dives into terminology, half the audience reaches for their phones, and foreign guests nod politely without understanding a word. Bulat Danilov is a Russian-English simultaneous interpreter and voice actor, freelancing since 2009. He works in a booth at major international events, provides consecutive interpretation of speeches on stage, and offers remote interpretation with professional equipment. A graduate of M. Akmulla Bashkir State Pedagogical University, he serves on the state examination commission of the Department of Intercultural Communication and Translation at BSPU, has completed the UN Secretariat's distance internship program and the course 'General Cultural Professional Competencies of an Interpreter' at MSLU.

The topics he feels confident in are culture and art, logistics and retail, architecture and design, technology and science, sports and health. This means he prepares in advance for a new product presentation or an industry session: he collects terminology, cross-checks names and figures so that there are no hesitations in the booth. He also separately records voice-over for events, videos and other media content — useful if you need not only translation but also voice-over for a video for the event.
