About the artist

The plenary session is underway, the speaker speaks in German, and half the audience in headphones awaits the Russian version — and awaits it without pauses, without guesses, and without 'now the speaker seems to mean'. At such events, the cost of inaccuracy is high: the client risks reputation with partners, and participants risk failed negotiations.

Elizabeth Liphardt works in the German-Russian language pair: simultaneous and consecutive interpretation. She holds a doctorate, is a state-certified and sworn translator of Russian in Germany, and has been working in Freiburg since 2011. She provides simultaneous interpretation at business forums and conferences, including whispering and with a radio guide, translates audits and inspections in the field of medical technology (QA/RA) and court hearings.

The difference of such work is that she withstands strict formats: audit terminology, protocol wording, the pace of several speakers at once. Among the events in her practice are the German-Kyrgyz business forum and meetings with the participation of the Freiburg administration. On site, it looks calm: a booth or radio guide, short glossary alignments in advance — and the audience hears coherent speech, not a retelling.

Works in person in Germany and Central Asia, as well as remotely — this is convenient when some speakers join via video link. Formats: corporate event with foreign guests, company anniversary, presentation, New Year's evening with partners from Germany. Leave your number — we will check the available date and quote the fee.
