Simultaneous interpreter Evgeny Sinelshchikov

At a corporate event with foreign guests, everything goes well right up to the moment the speaker starts talking. Then the room splits into those who understood and those who politely nod, while the organizer frantically looks for someone to seat next to the delegation. One mismatch on stage — and half a day of the program turns into negotiations in sign language.

Evgeny Sinelshchikov is a conference interpreter of Russian and English. Over 25 years in the profession, more than 1500 high-level events. Simultaneous and consecutive interpreting, member of the International Association of Conference Interpreters AIIC, graduated from Moscow State University with a degree in Linguistics and Intercultural Communication. Works full days specifically as a simultaneous interpreter — at government, corporate and international events: Moscow Days in Dubai, World Government Summit, UN-Habitat World Urban Forum in Abu Dhabi, industry congresses. Has letters of recommendation from Gazprom Neft, the World Bank / IFC, the OSCE and the Asian Development Bank.

On site it looks routine and therefore reliable: a booth or headsets, the speaker keeps their own pace, terms and figures don't drift, and a joke from the audience reaches the guests too. Evgeny holds the meaning, not the words separately — that's why a presentation, a panel discussion and an informal conversation over coffee sound equally clear in two languages.
