Farkhad Nailevich Fatkullin is an English interpreter from Kazan. He has been doing simultaneous interpreting since 2000, also works in whispered and consecutive interpreting modes, as a sole proprietor. He studied at Clayton High School (Missouri, USA), graduated from Kazan Financial and Economic Institute in 2002 and from the Translation Faculty of the Institute of Social and Humanitarian Knowledge in 2008; in 2007 he completed advanced training courses for simultaneous interpreters at the Moscow International School of Translation. Since 2009 he has been a freelance interpreter for the World Bank, and since 2006 he has collaborated with the Translation Sector of the Office of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan. He has interpreted Insead Executive MBA programs, courses of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and Civil Service College in Singapore for the leadership of Tatarstan, and taught in the dual degree program of KGFEI — SUNY.
