Simultaneous interpreter Olga Tomchuk

A foreign partner speaks fast, the room is noisy, and the speaker fires off terminology — and all of it has to be rendered in Russian without losing a single figure or nuance. At a business event, an interpreter is often the most invisible participant and at the same time the most indispensable one.

Olga Viktorovna Tomchuk is an English interpreter. She has been doing simultaneous interpreting since 2017, consecutive interpreting since 2009, and written translation since 2004. Her background includes MGIMO under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia (2004), the Ecole d'économie de l'art et de la communication (EAC) in Paris (2011), and Moscow State Linguistic University (2017), as well as membership in the National League of Translators.

She works with economics and management, foreign economic activity, the hotel business — from design and construction to operation — as well as art, architecture and design, fashion, gastronomy, medicine and clinical research, law and corporate governance, and ecology. On site, this means she doesn't stumble over industry terminology and keeps up with the speaker's pace without pauses or requests for repetition.

Olga lives in Florence and works in Russia, so she can join events in both countries. Formats: corporate party, company anniversary, presentation, New Year's evening. Leave your number and we'll check available dates and quote the fee.
